During his press conference in Strasbourg, Socialist & Democrat Group's President Hannes Swoboda gave his assessment of the EU Council Summit last week and stressed that it was now time for the Council to put its decisions into action. The President also get back to the new S&D initiative on the future of the European Union. The initiative, called 'Relaunching Europe - an alternative vision for the future', will run over the next two years and events will take place in countries across Europe.
