Investing in young people
The S&D Group is committed to supporting young people. We must invest in their potential across policies if we want to ensure the future of our societies.
However, today's statistics show that over 20% of young people in Europe are unemployed, under-employed or have no job security, especially in the current economic crisis. Youth employment must be seen as an important part of the recovery.
