The S&D Group sees enterprise and industry policy as a key element in growth and employment. The launch of the EU 2020 strategy makes enterprise and industry policy, with particular emphasis on SMEs, an S&D priority in our strategy for green employment and sustainable job creation in Europe to the benefit of an inclusive society.
In the context of globalization, enterprises need to develop their products and manufacturing processes while improving their skills in order to remain competitive in the new markets, but they must also find new opportunities resulting from technological developments and globalization.
