While the Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committees convene twice a year, the European Parliament’s Delegation is actively engaged with all aspects of Montenegro's accession to the Union. The delegation focuses on the functioning of the country's democratic institutions, on the fight against organised crime and corruption, on social policy and on environmental protection. The rule of law in Montenegro is monitored and often discussed in meetings held between both parties.
