Upcoming activities

Busy days ahead in the Parliament, as we’re getting ready for a mini-Plenary session in Brussels. Stay tuned!

On Wednesday we will be meeting with Commissioner Günther Oettinger to talk about one of this plenary’s hottest topics, the EU’s expenditure and resources for the next seven years - the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). So far, negotiations on the topic have been long and difficult, but our MEPs are fighting to be able to give Europe the tools to provide citizens with what they really need.

Media pluralism, protection of children in migration, a global ban on animal testing for cosmetics, and not to forget the chat about the Future of Europe with Belgian Prime-Minister Charles Michel will also be on the agenda for the following days.

May 5th will be an exciting day for our Group. Alongside all EU institutions, we will be opening our doors for everyone to join us and talk about Europe and our plans, hopes and strategies. Our #EuropeTogether team and Ambassadors will also be there, so join us and learn more about how to improve the Europe we live in!

We are also getting closer to our fourth edition of the School of Democracy, from 6 - 8 June, in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Over the course of three days, 100 young people from both inside and outside the EU will discuss the major issues facing Europe and the world. Participants will have the chance to debate with experts from the political, economic and academic worlds.
