CSW Parallel Event: Climate Justice as a Feminist Issue

FEPS Climate justice as a feminist issue 17 March 2022

On 17 March 2022, FEPS, Fondation Jean Jaurès, PES Women and UN Women Germany join forces in order to bring forward a new social contract to the climate emergency rooted in ecofeminist values and invite you to join the event "Climate Justice as a Feminist Issue – towards a progressive, gender-sensitive environmental EU policy model".

In an effort to overcome the gender-blind approach, the final aim is to explore progressive answers paving the way towards a truly feminist climate justice approach.

This event takes place in the broader context of the 66th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), which will be held from 14 to 25 March 2022. Its priority theme will be achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes.
