✅ APPROVED - The 🇪🇺 Parliament approved today the first ever EU Directive on fighting corruption.
This is a breakthrough and a victory for European citizens and the rule of law. The Directive sets out common, ambitious rules to prevent, detect and sanction corruption crimes.
Today, we voted in favour of a strong EP mandate for trilogue negotiations on the EU–US tariff deal, addressing the significant shortcomings of the unbalanced Turnberry deal.
