The Covid-19 pandemic has exposed the chronic problems in our health systems, but it has also shown how we need to work together to tackle threats, share knowledge and support each other.
Many of the problems we have experienced have deep roots. Health and environmental inequalities mean many communities have poor access to quality healthcare, unhealthy living conditions, worryingly low life expectancies and many preventable health issues.
However many things about the pandemic are new and we need fair solutions for vaccinating our citizens – and helping other countries around the world do the same – caring for those affected and preparing for future pandemics. This will require better cooperation and innovative approaches to make sure we can emerge from this crisis stronger – and leaving no one behind. We want to hear your ideas.
