S&Ds propose a Winter Solidarity Package for people and businesses to help them weather the social and economic crisis brought about by Putin’s war against Ukraine. This truly progressive and socially just plan foresees 15 solutions to ensure solidarity and fairness, adequate energy measures to bring the prices down, and a sturdy social shield.
The current crisis with record high energy and food prices requires immediate action to support people and businesses. This is why our Group has endorsed the #BringTheBillsDown campaign to reduce the financial burden of families and small and medium sized businesses all over Europe. Our Winter Solidarity Package brings a series of concrete solutions to cope with pertinent social and economic challenges.
