In light of this week’s vote on Brexit and the Withdrawal Agreement in the EP plenary on Wednesday, the S&D Group is organising a farewell event for their UK Labour MEPs.
The event will be held on Wednesday, 29 January 2020 from 12:00 - 13:00 in room PHS 3C050 in the European parliament in Brussels.

In honour of the hard work of UK Labour MEPs for more than 45 years in the European Parliament and their significant contribution to making peoples’ lives better all across Europe, the S&D Group will have a series of speakers to pay tribute to their achievements.
Richard Corbett and Theresa Griffin will be speaking on behalf of UK Labour MEPs alongside S&D Group president, Iratxe García Pérez, and president of the European Parliament, David Sassoli. There will also be contributions from the Executive vice-president of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans, and PES president, Sergei Stanishev.
