Silver Rose Awards Ceremony 2022.
Since the year 2000, SOLIDAR organises annually the Silver Rose Awards, the progressive civil society award in the European Parliament, with the support of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament and the Party of European Socialists.
For the 2022 edition, the awards will be on the theme of Peace & Common Security and Lifetime Achievement. Find more information in the 2022 call for nominations here.
The ceremony brings together a wide audience of like-minded individuals with backgrounds in civil society, trade unions and politics to strengthen once again our alliance and inspire us all to make our efforts and activities matter to achieve a world with social justice and solidarity.
This year, with a special thematic award, the Silver Rose Awards ceremony aims to celebrate initiatives that promote Peace and Common Security, whose importance was reminded to us by the horrific Russia invasion of Ukraine and the tragedy, pain, displacement, and destruction that followed.
The 2022 Silver Rose Awards Ceremony will take place in the European Parliament on Wednesday 16 November 2022 from 6 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
